Back in Time - Old Jerusalem

AUGUST 2011
Okay, so I haven't blogged for a while again so I wanted to start with a very special occasion that we were privileged to be part of. The Church asked us not to post any of these pictures until the first video was released. The first of a series of videos produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was aired during the First Presidency Christmas Fireside in December. Yes, I know I am about three months late in posting about this, but here we go.

The Church built a set to film videos depicting different events in the life of Jesus Christ. This set is located between Goshen and Elberta, Utah. Our son-in-law's, Landen, father is the bishop in Elberta and he has been involved some with the construction of this set. He was invited by the construction supervisor to tour the set, along with close family members. He graciously invited his family in the area and the families of his children's in-laws. We were so excited to go see this amazing set which covers several acres and depicts several places in the history of the New Testament. We were amazed at how real everything looked!   It was sometime in August that we toured the set. The Spirit there was amazing when the guide told us what each area was representing. We could really feel the spirit of Christ and gained firmer testimonies of the events that took place in his life. Thank you Wade for allowing us to have such an incredible experience here!
